the other day i had the opportunity to help a friend on a cash register
well i have not worked on a cash register since they now tell you how much change to give
and made that statement to some folks around
a customer replied how would i know how much change to give then
and i thought.......
i can count to a hundred
that is a start
and then i began to worry
now that cashiers are told how much change to give us they never count it out and we the consumer are under the impression that they know the correct amount
well my thought on this for today is
if i cannot trust them to give me the correct change unless a machine tells them, how do i know what they are giving me is correct?
so from now on it seems i will be the one in line counting my change and making all the rest of you in line wait for that whole 5 seconds it will take me

What am I doing here instead of being in the pool you might ask. As soon as i finish this that is exactly where I am headed.
